Treasuries are relatively higher across the curve this morning as investors continue to tussle with geopolitical uncertainties. The UST 10-Year yield is currently at 2.336% after closing at 2.366% prior.

Yesterday Fed Chairwoman Yellen stated that the Fed has moved to sustaining economic gains from a post-crisis healing period, asserting that the current economy is “pretty healthy,” and that it was “appropriate to gradually raise the federal funds rate to a neutral stance,” if the economy performs as expected.

Today is another quiet economic calendar day with only the March NFIB Small Business Optimism Index on tap, which slipped to 104.70 from 105.30 prior. At 10:00 AM (PT), Treasury will auction $20 Billion in reopened 10-Year notes. Then at 11:00 AM (PT), the Fed will release the Minutes of the most recent Discount Rate meeting. The remainder of the week consists of Wednesday's Import Price Index, Thursday's PPI Ex Food and Energy, and Friday's Retail Sales and CPI inflation reports.

The curve has bull-flattened with the UST 10-Year down 3.0 bps from prior closing.
