Treasuries are higher than yesterday at the opening of today’s session. The yield on the UST 10-Year is currently at 2.818% after closing at 2.837% during the prior session.

The February’s JOLTS Job Openings report was released today and reflected a 6052 figure for the period, beating market expectations of 6024 but dropping from its previous mark of 6228 revised. Also in today, preliminary University of Michigan 1-Year Inflation for April came in at 2.70% versus prior mark of 2.80%; while preliminary 5-10-Years Inflation for April came in at 2.40% versus prior mark of 2.50%. Further, preliminary University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment for April scored 97.80, below estimated 100.40 and down from prior 101.40; while preliminary University of Michigan Consumer Expectations for April scored 86.80 versus prior 88.80.  

Boston Federal Reserve President Rosengren will speak today on economic outlook in Boston; while St. Louis Federal Reserve President Bullard will also speak today on Living Standards across the U.S. in a lecture held at Washington University in St. Louis.

The curve has bull-flattened with the UST 10-Year yield down 1.9 bps from prior closing.
