Treasuries are slightly lower across the curve this morning from yesterday's close. The UST10-Year yield is currently at 2.387% after closing at 2.367% prior.
This morning we received the Nonfarm Payrolls for June which showed that employers added more jobs than projected, gaining 222k jobs versus the expected 178k gain per consensus, reflecting a solid job growth for the month. May's employment report was upwardly revised to 152k from 138k. Wage gains for June disappointed once again with the average hourly earnings coming in below expectations at 0.20% versus 0.30% per consensus. May's average hourly earnings were downwardly revised from 0.20% to 0.10%. Unemployment Rate for the month of June rose to 4.40% versus 4.30% prior.

The curve has bear-steepened with the UST 10-Year up 2.0 bps from prior closing.
