       The FHFA House Price Index rose +0.20% in June (consensus +0.40%) with May revised up from +0.40% to +0.50%. Case-Shiller's 20-City adjusted index fell -0.12% in June (consensus +0.12%) and May was revised up from -0.18% to -0.10%. Both Case-Shiller and FHFA are estimating very minimal home-price appreciation. Sales of new single-family houses in July were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 507K or is +5.40% above June. The median sales price of new houses sold in July was $285,900 and the average sales price was $361,600; this represents approximately a 5.2 month supply. Treasuries are opening lower this morning and the curve has bear flattened with 2s10s down -1.6 bps.
